Technical Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for client interaction/communication, requirements gathering, and assisting client in the development and tracking of multiple project plans. The Project Manager will work with the client to ensure successful completion of projects as measured by customer satisfaction, achieving measurable goals and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with client project managers to define, develop & track project plans
  • Responsible for day-to-day oversight of various projects
  • Ensure proper communications between client and offshore teams
  • Ensuring process and methodology guidelines are followed
  • Produce proposals, presentations and status reports
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting on customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for producing and presenting Weekly Project Dashboard Reports.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 3 years of embedded software development experience
  • 3 years of project management experience
  • Must have previous experience managing multiple software development projects
  • Great client communications skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, customer service attitude and attention to details
  • Writing and presentation skills
  • Past experience working with offshore teams highly desirable
  • BS/BA in computer science or related experience.

Business Development Manager

We are seeking to hire an experienced sales professional, to be based in our San Diego corporate office, who has a history of successful sales throughout the United States. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development.

Description:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and the sales process from due diligence of customer opportunities through proposal and acceptance. This position will have ongoing responsibilities for developing new business relationships with targeted key companies and market sectors at the executive level.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a recent (5-10 year) history of selling software development and systems integration related services and solutions to a wide range of prospects. Further, they will demonstrate the ability to navigate large complex organizations.

Essential Duties:

  • Solid understanding of outsourced software development services
  • Identify, assess, and determine feasibility of customer opportunities
  • Interface with sales and engineering teams
  • Negotiate NDA's and Agreements as appropriate
  • Close opportunities with key targeted customers / prospects
  • Manage customer relationships before, during, and after projects
  • Work with Program Managers to ensure successful delivery.

Required Experience:

  • BA/BS in a related field
  • 5-10 years direct sales experience in a consulting environment
  • Must have front-line sales experience with direct customer contact
  • Experience with offshore/nearshore delivery models a plus
  • Must have verifiable experience in quota-based, revenue generation
  • Proficient in proposal generation and presentation to customers
  • Excellent communications and business relationship skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work with a variety of internal and external organizational functions
  • Successful sales experience targeting Fortune 1000 clients
  • Solid history of developing and closing new business opportunities worth over $250,000.00 each.

Business Analyst (Contract Position)

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst. The ideal person will have the following background:

  • 10 to 15+ years of professional work experience
  • 5 to 10+ years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an information technology setting
  • Ability to work with project sponsors, stake holders and future users of a data warehousing solution to document current work processes, define requirements, and develop a request for proposal for the implementation phase of the project
  • Ability to conduct interviews, lead meetings, and drive the process is critical
  • Specific familiarity with data warehousing solutions is ideal
  • Experience in the education space is ideal
  • Ability to work onsite at customer location (San Diego)
  • Experience working as a contractor is ideal.

Senior Software Engineer (Contract Position)

Neubloc is looking for a seasoned Ada developer to support a current customer contract. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced project.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years Ada programming experience, including expertise with ActivAda and Ada83 related compilers
  • 5-10+ years embedded development experience
  • 5-10+ years real-time operating system experience
  • Experience as a contractor, supporting a customer team
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel to Houston approximately once a month - can be based anywhere in the United States.
